What an amazing adventure the Watermark Gypsy Cobs and Demore Park had at The Melbourne Royal Horse Show. Our journey started all too precariously, the float not working in total harmony with the Jeep, and all too soon we found ourselves snaking our way down through Tamworth, already three hours into the journey with another 23 hours to go I had my doubts I was capable of getting there. However, once we arrived in Mudgee where we would meet up with Esmay and Dean Rheinberger the owners of the stunning Demore Park Samson, things were set right and the balance of the float re-assessed, we finally set off in convoy feeling a great deal happier. With regular stops to rest up the ponies, water offered, a light feed offered, we finally arrived in Melbourne at 2am on Saturday morning, exhausted but excited, we settled the boys into there stables and tried to get some sleep ourselves. Saturday would be a complete rest day for all the stallions, they were walked out and llightly lunged to stretch tired muscles, washed and cleaned up. All stallions would be presented for one class on Sunday morning, after that, more resting down time. Monday was another story, a hive of activity took place as soon as all had breakfast, brushes and grooming equipment flying, mane, tail and feathers getting the finally fluff with coats being lightly towelled down, harness and bridles carefully put on and once we were totally happy with the overal effect, all three stallions made there way to the arena. The effect those stallions had on bystanders as they walked past them to get to the show ring was breathtaking. It hard getting to the classes on time with the public stopping is to ask questions.

The Whistleblower stretching those tired limbs and enjoying goofing around,
but still showing how light in hand he is, such a darling boy.
